Tutor for AE2224-I (Test, Analysis & Simulation)

TU Delft, Aerospace Engineering — Delft, NL

Tutored and supervised a bachelor research team as part of AE2224-I: Test, Analysis & Simulation, where students worked on processing and modelling fibre misalignment in unidirectional CFRP composites. The project was connected to my research and gave the students the chance to work with real 3D microstructure data, study fibre misalignment behaviour, build synthetic microstructure models using copula-based statistics and fibre-direction depth memory, validate the generated structures, and explore fibre neighbourhood behaviour using clustering algorithms. The supervision also included a demo visit to TapeLab, where the students could connect the modelling work to composite manufacturing processes and better understand how misalignments and defects can develop in practice. Alongside the technical supervision, I was involved in grading reports, providing written feedback, facilitating peer review sessions, and examining the students during the oral exam.

Course Grader for MCE 321 (Mechanical Design)

American University of Sharjah (AUS), Mechanical Engineering Department — Sharjah, UAE

Graded MCE 321 just one semester after taking it myself. Some friends were in the class. They survived. Mostly.
